Most recently, I was working at Groq, where I built the entire GroqCloud design system from the ground up.
Outside of my designer persona, you'll probably find me at the climbing gym, cooking for my friends, or watching a movie.

Sep '25 - Dec '25I worked as a growth designer for a fashion browser extension. As part of my work, I redesigned onboarding, optimized activation through A/B testing, and worked on a number of new features.

Sep '24 - Sep '25I designed the web application for a therapy product built to support therapists, not replace them. As the sole designer, I contributed to every feature and flow in the platform.
I appreciate you taking the time to have a gander at my little corner of the internet :) To introduce myself, I'm Yousuf, a (soon to be) engineer graduating from the University of Waterloo in April 2026. I've been designing since 2019, though the good stuff only really started in 2022. I've had the immense privilege of working at some of the most incredible companies, surrounded by some of the most talented people. And although the world of design takes up most of my waking (and sleeping) hours, that's not all there is to me.
Outside of Figma, you'll likely find me cheffing something up in the kitchen, or playing board games with friends. If that doesn't cut it, I'll probably be out taking some shots with my camera or exploring a new country.
